DfE Notice To Improve

Notice to Improve from the Department for Education

This notice to improve is part of a standard process of the Department for Education (DfE) and relates to a change in our financial position following inaccuracies identified in our financial reporting and budget setting last summer, which led to an unintended overspend.  The link to the notice published on the DfE website can be found here - Everychild Partnership Trust Notice to Improve

We took immediate action as soon as these issues were identified and have been working closely with the DfE, which has recognised the positive actions we have already taken. These include changes to boost the capability of our finance team, strengthen accounting and improve internal financial controls.

Our priority remains delivering high-quality education and support for our pupils. We are continuing to focus on resolving this swiftly, with the support of the DfE to further strengthen our financial position.
